## 2 April: on-site assessment of a candidate school

KPS99TV’s report published on 3 April 2026 records a 2 April visit to Hun Sen Mittapheap Primary School in Sihanoukville by the inter-ministerial technical committee of the national public-service unit assessment commission. Members questioned teachers, parents and authorities and inspected grounds, sanitation, environment, teaching and learning. The school was then a candidate for the 2025 education-sector model public-service award.

## 8 June: facilities inauguration and school size at the time

The 8 June report records an inauguration of facilities on the school campus. The headteacher reported 50 staff, three teaching buildings and 37 rooms, with 2,913 pupils: 427 in preschool and 2,486 in primary classes. These figures describe that report’s period; they are not a live admissions or places-available count. The school was still awaiting the competition’s final result at that time.

## 14 July: report of first place for the 2025 award

The report published on 14 July says the school took first place as a model public-service provider in education for 2025. The award year is 2025; the publication year is 2026. This is a later stage than April’s candidate assessment and June’s pending result.
