The report says border patrol officers detained nine foreign nationals suspected of trying to enter Cambodia illegally from Thailand.

Another alleged illegal crossing has been reported along the Cambodia–Thailand border. During a routine patrol late on the night of November 21, personnel at the New Village checkpoint in Malai district intercepted nine foreign nationals allegedly attempting to enter Cambodia illegally from Thailand.
According to law enforcement authorities, those detained included five Chinese men and four Myanmar nationals, two of them women. They were discovered while attempting to cross the border and were immediately detained by police.
The suspects have been transferred to Malai district police for further investigation and handling under legal procedures. Local law enforcement authorities said they would continue to strengthen border patrols to prevent illegal entry and other cross-border unlawful activities and maintain security and order in the area.
