Through investment in this programme, ADB supports Cambodia in strengthening financial sector capacity, stability and performance, laying the foundations for resilient growth, expanding financial inclusion and unlocking private sector potential. By strengthening a dynamic and inclusive financial ecosystem, ADB aims to empower businesses, attract investment and ensure prosperity reaches all parts of society.”\nAlthough Cambodia's financial sector has made significant progress, further development is needed to unlock the country's full potential. Challenges remain, including limited market activity, access to services and investor protection, alongside underdeveloped regulatory frameworks, low financial literacy and inadequate digital infrastructure. The absence of a common sustainability framework also impedes progress towards climate and inclusive finance goals.\nThe approved programme's first phase focuses on strengthening the regulatory environment, financial stability, market activity and consumer protection, alongside a strategic plan for financial technology, regulatory frameworks for digital assets and cryptocurrencies, and cross-sector financing cooperation. Implementing a financial education strategy will help create an enabling environment for inclusive, technology-supported finance. The programme also aims to enhance sustainability frameworks across the financial sector by establishing a green finance working group, issuing guidance on corporate sustainability disclosure, and creating mechanisms for public-sector sustainability bond issuance.\nADB is a leading multilateral development bank supporting inclusive growth, resilience and sustainability across Asia and the Pacific. Working with its members and partners to address complex shared challenges, it uses innovative financial tools and strategic partnerships to transform lives, build quality infrastructure and protect the planet. Founded in 1966, ADB is owned by 69 members, 50 of them from Asia and the Pacific.\nBy: ង៉ែត ពិសាន្ត","contentScope":"full","proof":{"publishedSourceRevision":"1","publishedWorkingVersionId":"16474","languageVersionId":"13973","visibilityVersion":"2","versionToken":"a1.1_r0tVucxDfLfJoRy7yQYIWpNsboWiwNXcopKZgroiU"},"availableLocales":["zh","en","km"],"attributes":{"sourceLocale":"km","translationKind":"machine","nodeId":"12","authorText":"","sourceName":"KPS99TV"},"references":[],"links":[],"publishedAt":"2025-11-24T04:02:01Z"}
