Investigators found that it had openly labelled its office on Google Maps as the 'headquarters of Thailand's leading gambling website' to attract bettors, and even allowed minors to participate. The platform had more than 20,000 registered users and monthly turnover of about 10 million baht, approximately 1.96 million yuan, with annual turnover reaching 120 million baht, approximately 23.6 million yuan.\n\nPolice issued arrest warrants for 22 people linked to the case. Nine have been arrested so far, including a 30-year-old principal operator. Police said he had previously promoted online gambling platforms in a neighbouring country before independently running at least seven similar websites. A search of his residence in Chiang Rai province uncovered cars, computers, mobile phones, gold bars, gold jewellery and bank cards linked to the case, with assets valued at more than 5 million baht, approximately 980,000 yuan.\n\nPolice said the remaining suspects were being pursued. The Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau has obtained information on the platform's money flows, servers and associated accounts to further clarify the criminal network's structure. Case materials are being prepared for subsequent prosecution and further investigation. Police said they would continue tackling illegal online gambling to prevent further harm to young people and society.\nCompiled by this station.","contentScope":"full","proof":{"publishedSourceRevision":"1","publishedWorkingVersionId":"16552","languageVersionId":"14207","visibilityVersion":"2","versionToken":"a1.RYJ6Ypm2UsV2xTeovehQj64ebxj5Fl52IfcPWMhTbVY"},"availableLocales":["zh","en","km"],"attributes":{"sourceLocale":"zh","translationKind":"machine","nodeId":"183","authorText":"","sourceName":"KPS99TV"},"references":[],"links":[],"publishedAt":"2025-11-26T07:45:30Z"}
