Sihanoukville carried out beach and public-space cleanup, infrastructure maintenance and festive lighting preparations ahead of the year-end tourism peak and New Year celebrations.

On November 30, Preah Sihanouk Governor 蒙西纳 instructed relevant teams to undertake a coordinated cleanup and improvement of coastal beaches and nearby public areas. The work included removing beach litter, maintaining infrastructure, installing festive lighting and landscaping along major roads, in preparation for the approaching New Year celebrations.
Reports said the comprehensive improvements had noticeably enhanced the appearance of Sihanoukville's coastline and public spaces, making them cleaner and more attractive and creating a more welcoming festive atmosphere for the year-end tourism peak and New Year's Eve events.
