Kaja Kallas called for an immediate restoration of the Cambodia–Thailand ceasefire, pledging continued engagement and saying the EU could provide satellite imagery for monitoring and implementation.

Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and a vice-president of the European Commission, said in a statement that the conflict between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kingdom of Thailand must not be allowed to escalate further. The ceasefire therefore needed to be restored immediately. She added that she would continue engaging and advancing this work to help end the cycle of escalation and promote regional peace and stability.
The EU high representative also stressed that the European Union could provide satellite imagery to support monitoring and implementation of the ceasefire between the two sides.
