Preliminary investigations indicated that the suspects allegedly impersonated South Korean police and prosecutors, using the pretext of “case investigations” to intimidate, threaten and extort South Korean victims. Police described the alleged circumstances as serious.\nAll suspects have been taken to the National Police for further questioning.
