Pen Bona outlined Cambodia’s position on inherited boundaries and existing agreements and discussed the safety of Cambodians in the Middle East and elsewhere.

On matters concerning the Indochina–Siam Boundary Commission, the Cambodian government reiterated its position that borders should be maintained under international law, the principle of inherited boundaries, the Franco-Siamese treaties, maps, demarcation records and existing agreements. It said existing borders should remain unchanged and opposed changing them by force.
Government spokesman Pen Bona also said the government was concerned about the safety of Cambodian citizens and students in the Middle East and other countries. Writer: Lay Kol.
