Major works include piling; geotextile sandbags to stabilise the toe of the bank; stone gabions; casting a concrete lower ring beam; preparing the ground for concrete slope protection; building a concrete road; installing railings; and casting the concrete slope protection.\nAt the time of the report, construction was approximately 60% complete. Under the plan, the project was to be completed and opened for use in the near future to help protect the riverbank and improve the area’s appearance.
