Developing countries and countries with smaller populations can also compete with and defeat strong teams, he said.\n\nHun Sen said the growing participation of poorer countries and countries with smaller populations in the World Cup demonstrated equality on the pitch, in contrast to a geopolitical environment facing turmoil and a loss of international order.\n\nLinking his remarks to that view, Wang Wenbin stressed that equality among countries should not exist only on the football pitch but should be applied and reflected in every aspect of international relations.\nHe emphasized: “The ironclad friendship between China and Cambodia is a good example of mutual respect and equality between countries.”\n\nBy: Pai Sokhim","contentScope":"full","proof":{"publishedSourceRevision":"1","publishedWorkingVersionId":"13063","languageVersionId":"6097","visibilityVersion":"2","versionToken":"a1.fd3HaYHp3pxmicgB8wQwtlLoRKDMUB8kSoh8amABXJ4"},"availableLocales":["zh","en","km"],"attributes":{"sourceLocale":"km","translationKind":"machine","nodeId":"12","authorText":"","sourceName":"KPS99TV"},"references":[],"links":[],"publishedAt":"2026-07-04T10:11:27Z"}
