More than 1,000 people took part, including government officials, athletes, students, teachers and local residents.\nThe relay marked another step in preparations for Cambodia’s National Games.\n\nThe fifth National Games will take place from November 6 to 15, alongside the third National Games for Persons with Disabilities. Athletes from across the country will compete in a range of sports.\nThe theme of this year’s Games is “Sports Promote National Unity”. In addition to providing a competitive stage for athletes, the National Games offer a platform to identify and develop young sporting talent.\n\nKep is one of the host locations for this year’s Games.
