Cambodia’s rice exports have surpassed the 1 million ton mark for the first time in 2026, reaching 1,014,442 tons as of October 19, 2026. This achievement reflects the growth of Cambodia’s rice sector and the expansion of its export markets internationally.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Cambodia’s official rice export volume from January 1 to October 19, 2026, exceeded the level recorded in the previous year, when in 2025 Cambodia exported only 940,321 tons.
Key export markets for Cambodian rice include the European Union, China and ASEAN member countries, reaching 75 international markets.
