WESTERDAM calls at Sihanoukville with 1,877 tourists and 800 crew

At 6:50 a.m. on December 15, 2025, the Dutch-flagged cruise ship WESTERDAM berthed at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
There were 1,877 tourists, including 999 women, of 43 nationalities.
The 800 crew members included 157 women and represented 40 nationalities.
The largest tourist groups were from the USA, with 824 people, and Australia, with 299.
The provincial authorities and Sihanoukville tourism department extended a warm welcome, arranging a traditional blessing dance and maintaining security and public order for visitors to Cambodia’s Sihanoukville province. The ship measures 285.22 metres in length and 32.20 metres in beam.
The cruise ship came to Cambodia from Thailand and was scheduled to proceed to Malaysia at 8:00 p.m. on December 15, 2025.
