Thai forces continued firing on Cambodian troops in the Fourth Military Region from 4:00 a.m. on December 15, 2025, according to a report by Defence Ministry spokesperson Lieutenant General Maly Socheata. The spokesperson said Thai forces had begun intense artillery fire of all calibres into O’Smach, Preah Vihear Temple, Khna Temple, Ta Moan Thom Temple, Ta Krabei Temple, the An Ses area and the Thma Daun area. She said the attacks involved artillery, cluster bombs and bomb-dropping drones. Thai forces also moved tanks in the Chub Angkun area and fired 155 mm artillery shells into civilian areas within Samraong city. Other areas were calm, but Cambodian forces continued to monitor the situation closely and maintain high vigilance. The report recalled that this was the ninth day since December 7 of what it described as Thai military aggression and indiscriminate attacks on Cambodian troops and innocent civilian locations. It said that, as of the morning of December 15, 2025, it had yet to see the international community, countries in the ASEAN region or international organisations publicly condemn these actions. The report put Cambodian civilian deaths at 12, including an infant, with 74 people injured and more than 400,000 displaced. By: ង៉ែត ពិសាន្ត
