On the morning of December 26, 2025, Dr Pich Chanmony Hun Manet met many innocent Cambodian civilians, including elderly people, pregnant women and children, at a gathering to offer support, ask about their well-being and distribute donations to people who had fled provinces along the Cambodia–Thailand border after Thai military aggression. At the event, she conveyed the warm greetings and profound concern of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen and Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet to every displaced person. She also brought valuable donations from Hun Manet and herself, distributing them to all the displaced people for their daily needs and to ease their difficulties in the current situation. She expressed deep thanks to all donors from near and far who had given extensive support alongside the royal government, and called for further humanitarian assistance in the spirit of “One Khmer people, Khmers helping Khmers”. She further stressed that, in these difficult circumstances, the Cambodian government was using one hand to resist the invading enemy, while with the other it continued devoting utmost attention to rescuing displaced people and caring for their safety and livelihoods.
