On December 29, 2025, Deputy Governor Nai Kong, representing Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth, led a working group to deliver food, provisions, medicine and other supplies donated by residents of the province. The aid went to Cambodian troops serving on the front line to defend territorial integrity and to the Preah Vihear provincial administration for further distribution to displaced people in urgent need. Residents’ charitable donations would continue to be delivered to other locations until the available stocks were exhausted. On behalf of the Preah Sihanouk provincial administration, the statement expressed deep gratitude to all domestic and international donors who had continued to contribute aid for frontline troops and displaced people. “Khmer unity, Khmer victory; Khmer people help one another in emergencies. The people’s national-defence foundation will continue as long as the threat remains.” By: Pai Sokhim
