Hundreds of Cambodians living in France gathered on Sunday, the previous day, to protest and condemn Thailand’s actions against Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. They expressed pain over what they described as premeditated and systematic violations of their territory and people. Participants called on the international community to pressure the Thai government to stop harbouring intentions to invade Cambodian territory and to pay attention to protecting Cambodia’s rights, peace and justice. The report noted that protest movements by Cambodians living in various countries had emerged after what it described as repeated, premeditated and systematic Thai military attacks on Cambodian territory. Cambodians in the United States, Australia, France, Canada, South Korea and Japan, among other countries, were seen holding placards protesting and condemning Thai aggression against Cambodia’s sovereign territory.
