Recently, a woman from Fujian was found stranded on the streets of Sihanoukville, Cambodia, drawing public attention. A local hospital admitted her and identified her as Wu … Zhen, with part of her name withheld in the report. She was in poor physical condition and had been diagnosed with several illnesses, including a lung infection, pleurisy, pleural effusion and urinary retention. The hospital said hair drug tests returned positive results for methamphetamine and ketamine. The findings had been recorded, and Wu … Zhen was receiving further treatment and care. Previously, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia said Wu … Zhen had told officials she travelled to Cambodia in March 2025 after believing information about “high-paying work”, then fell into difficulty for various reasons and ended up on the streets.
