The Royal Government of Cambodia, through the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, is lending 150 bronze antiquities for display at three venues in China, starting at the Hebei provincial museum in late 2026.
At her January 6 meeting with a team from Angkor International Cultural Investment and Development (Cambodia), the Minister of Culture and Fine Arts expressed support for the loan project. She said the exhibitions would offer an opportunity to introduce Khmer cultural heritage to Chinese people who had not yet had time to visit Cambodia.
The minister also requested the company’s cooperation in organising cultural programmes at its premises in Siem Reap province and asked the Chinese side to ensure a high level of safety for the Khmer antiquities throughout the loan period. By: Chinta Titi
