Cambodia and Saudi Arabia welcomed the positive momentum in bilateral relations between the two countries, highlighting high-level visits, the strengthening and expansion of trade and investment cooperation, and people-to-people ties.
According to Cambodia’s Foreign Ministry, on the morning of January 8, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn received Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Cambodia, Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy, for a courtesy and farewell call as the ambassador concluded his diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
The two sides welcomed the positive momentum in bilateral relations, highlighting high-level visits, the strengthening and expansion of trade and investment cooperation, and people-to-people ties.
The Cambodian deputy prime minister also reaffirmed Cambodia’s readiness to work closely with the incoming Saudi ambassador to further strengthen bilateral relations.
