Preah Sihanouk reported economic growth of 5.4 percent, annual total income of approximately US$1.32 billion and annual GDP per capita of US$4,256. Governor Mang Sineth presented the report at the closing of the provincial administration’s 2025 work-review and 2026 planning conference last Saturday. He said the province’s appearance was changing rapidly through the development and restoration of physical infrastructure, including roads, coastal improvements, clean water, electricity, solid- and liquid-waste management, public toilets, stormwater drains, wastewater pumping stations and wastewater-treatment facilities. Coastal development also included standardised trading stalls, public lighting, security cameras and posts, street trees, footpaths, parking areas, signs and traffic lights, Techo Square, lettering saying “Khmer Can Do It” and roundabout statues depicting national culture, civilisation, traditions and history.
