They came from 18 countries and regions: China, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda, the Philippines, Brazil, Norway, South Africa and Taiwan, China. All departed via Techo International Airport after completing procedures.
An official statement cited illegal entry, residence without passports and unlawful employment among the main violations. The article presented the operation as part of continuing government action to address public-security problems and online and other crime, signalling stricter legal administration.
The government also said it would pursue organisers and principal offenders without leniency. For victims deceived into online-scam work, authorities would provide necessary assistance alongside legal procedures, help restore freedom and arrange return to their home countries, protecting security and social order.
