On February 23, Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth and Preah Vihear Governor Kim Rithy visited residents at the Wat Bak Kam safety centre in Chhean Mukh commune, Tbeng Meanchey district, Preah Vihear province, to inquire about their living conditions.
More than 800 households at the centre have been growing vegetables and raising laying ducks to support their daily lives. The governors observed these activities and expressed care and support for the residents.
The visit reflected solidarity and mutual assistance between the provinces, with the aim of continuing to help affected families overcome difficulties.
Prime Minister Hun Manet visited the centre on January 31 and announced three measures: assisting families able to return to their original homes, arranging accommodation for those still unable to return, and restoring damaged infrastructure.
