On February 23, Cambodia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised a visit by foreign diplomats and representatives of international organisations to the Cambodia–Thailand border, presenting the situation in areas Cambodia says are occupied by Thai troops.
Cambodia said that despite the ceasefire reached following mediation by Trump, Thai forces remained in territory Cambodia claims as its own, including areas beyond the line of Thailand's unilateral territorial claim.
The Cambodian government reiterated its rejection of any attempt to change the border through force. It hoped the field visit would draw international attention to the border situation and urge Thailand to observe the ceasefire and withdraw its troops from the areas in question as soon as possible.
