Preah Sihanouk’s provincial administration and prosecutors recently announced regular inspections of suspected scam locations at casinos and in communities, implementing government directive No. 03 and aiming to curb unlawful activity and support legitimate economic development.
Prime Minister Hun Manet called on the public to join a “cleaning the house” campaign through three principles: not participating in scams, reporting crime leads and pursuing lawful employment.
The province said agencies would cooperate with the aim of eliminating online scams and creating a safe, stable living and business environment for residents and investors.
