Siem Reap announces free New Year bus services for April 12–17

For the coming Khmer New Year in the Year of the Horse, Siem Reap’s provincial administration announces free City Bus travel over six days, April 12–17, 2026.
Its March 19 notice says Phnom Penh’s City Bus Authority has allocated 115 buses for journeys from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and back, with the following times and stops:
1. Phnom Penh to Siem Reap: April 12–16, 2026, with daily departures between 6:30 and 11:30 a.m. from the OCIC land parking area in Chroy Changvar, at Teap Machcha (Mermaid) Roundabout. The destination is the Siem Reap provincial departments’ administrative centre on Samdech Vibol Panha Sok An Avenue, or 60-Metre Road.
2. Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, as follows:
– April 13–17, 2026, with daily departures between 6:30 and 11:30 a.m.
– From the provincial departments’ administrative centre on Samdech Vibol Panha Sok An Avenue (60-Metre Road), Siem Reap, to the OCIC land parking area in Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh, at Teap Machcha (Mermaid) Roundabout.
