In view of oil-price pressures linked to the Middle East war and the hot season, the government delegate in charge as director-general of Electricité du Cambodge instructed leaders and employees across its units, branches and provincial electricity services to save energy.
Lights and air conditioning must not be left running in empty offices.
Air conditioning should be set at 24°C or higher.
Staff should not close curtains and then use large amounts of artificial lighting.
Vehicles should be shared on official missions.
Where possible, meetings should be held online instead of in person to reduce official travel.
