Preah Sihanouk: Seven Seas Mariner arrived at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port at 8 a.m. on April 2, 2026, carrying 614 tourists and 461 crew members. Provincial administration officials welcoming the visitors said the large cruise ship was to remain for two days before departing. They described this as the first time a large cruise ship had docked and arranged a two-day sightseeing stay in Cambodia, particularly in Preah Sihanouk province. The report portrayed the visit as a sign of the ship’s and visitors’ confidence in their safety under the Cambodian government led by Prime Minister Hun Manet and the provincial authorities. It said the province was working to maintain security and safety for residents and domestic and international visitors. The provincial tourism department also said that 11 cruise ships had called at the international port in the first three months of 2026, bringing more than 20,000 international tourists to see local development and tourist attractions.
