The Cambodian Ministry of Commerce announced on the evening of April 3 that retail fuel prices at stations nationwide would be adjusted again from April 4. According to the announcement as reported, the prices reflected government consultations with fuel companies and regional and international crude-oil market fluctuations.
Under the latest reference prices, regular petrol is 5,500 riel per litre, approximately US$1.37, and diesel is 8,100 riel per litre, approximately US$2.01. The ministry also said fuel retailers could sell below the government’s reference prices according to market conditions.
