According to the report, Phnom Penh police chief Chuon Narin said police had summoned three people after Samdech Techo Hun Sen voiced concern and criticism over a viral online story described as “one wife and two husbands”.
Chuon Narin said the people involved had promoted and sensationalised the content online, which he said harmed the dignity of Cambodian women and had an adverse social impact. He said they had signed pledges to stop livestreaming after being summoned and cautioned by police.
