On April 9, 2026, Preah Sihanouk Provincial Governor Mang Sineth led a provincial delegation to visit and speak with front-line troops. It brought food, consumer goods, medicines and other essential supplies which, according to the report, were donated by Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife, together with contributions from residents of Preah Sihanouk province, to support troops defending territorial integrity and displaced civilians. The donations were handed to the 4th Intervention Brigade, a twinning partner of the province based in Oddar Meanchey, to support and encourage forces actively stationed on front-line duties. On behalf of the provincial administration, the governor expressed deep thanks to Cambodian and international benefactors who donated through the administration and continued actively supporting front-line troops and displaced civilians. He stressed the importance of national unity, saying “Khmer solidarity, Khmer victory, Khmer helping Khmer” was a valuable culture of mutual assistance in emergencies. He said people-based national defence would remain strong as long as threats persisted. By: សុខ ស៊ីណាន.
