Hun Sen visits the King and reports improvement after surgery

Hun Sen said he visited King Norodom Sihamoni at a Beijing hospital for about eight minutes at 9:30 a.m. Beijing time on April 21. He said the King could converse normally, remained on postoperative intravenous care and asked him to convey greetings to monks and the Cambodian people.

Senate President Hun Sen said he visited King Norodom Sihamoni at a hospital in Beijing at 9:30 a.m. Beijing time on April 21, spending about eight minutes with the King. Hun Sen said the King’s overall condition had improved and that he could speak and respond normally during their conversation. The King was resting and receiving intravenous treatment, which Hun Sen described as part of routine postoperative care.
