On the morning of May 8, 2026, Major General ខូវ លី, Oddar Meanchey provincial police commissioner, assigned representatives and police officers to provide security, safety and public-order arrangements for the foundation-stone ceremony for the ព្រះគោព្រះកែវ statue roundabout. The report said the deployment followed instructions from General Sar Thet, commissioner-general of the National Police.
The ceremony took place in the provincial park, presided over by provincial council chairman ស៊ី ប្រាសិទ្ធ and provincial governor មាន ចាន់យ៉ាដា.
The deployment was intended to support the smooth running of the ceremony and maintain safety, security and public order for leaders, guests and residents attending.
