(Preliminary report): A serious traffic accident occurred on the eastern side of Prek Tamak Bridge on the afternoon of July 21, 2026. A vehicle suspected of having suffered brake failure struck multiple vehicles and people travelling across the bridge.
According to preliminary information from the scene, at least 3 people were killed and many others injured. Authorities and emergency rescue teams intervened immediately to assist the victims and manage traffic at the site.
The actual cause of the accident was still being investigated and clarified by the relevant authorities.
