(Philippines): On July 22, 2026, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Dith Tina led a delegation from the ministry and Cambodia’s private sector to the Cambodia–Philippines Business Matching Forum in Agriculture. The aim was to connect the two countries’ private sectors more closely with target markets and the actual needs of their populations. About 63 private companies from Cambodia and the Philippines participated in the forum, focusing on agricultural products including rice, livestock products, cashew nuts and agricultural fertilisers. The report said these connections would enable Cambodia to expand agricultural exports to the Philippine market and increase agricultural trade between the two countries, while demonstrating Cambodia’s potential to help ensure food security for countries in the ASEAN region.
