Interior Minister Sar Sokha issued a temporary suspension of tourism police chief រុន រ័ត្នវាសនា for further investigation. The order requires him to report to the National Police personnel office during working hours until a new decision is issued.

Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sar Sokha issued a prakas temporarily suspending Lieutenant General រុន រ័ត្នវាសនា, identification number 56035, Director of the Tourism Police Department under the General Commissariat of National Police, so that investigative procedures could continue under the procedures in force. According to the Interior Ministry prakas, he must regularly report to the Personnel Office of the General Commissariat of National Police during all working hours until the ministry issues a new decision.
