His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha will head a high-level delegation from Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior to attend the high-level conference on ASEAN law enforcement, to be held under the theme “Cooperation in Combating Fugitive Offenders,” in Hanoi, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Cambodia’s participation in this conference underscores the Kingdom’s continued engagement in law enforcement cooperation within the ASEAN framework, particularly by strengthening coordination among member states to prevent and address cross-border fugitives.
The conference also serves as a platform for relevant parties to exchange experiences and discuss ways to reinforce cooperation mechanisms, with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement and the fight against transnational crime in the ASEAN region. By: KPS99TV
