In a spirit of deep concern for the well-being of fellow citizens, on the morning of September 29, 2026, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha arranged the provision of emergency relief supplies, including a wide range of food and non-food items, to the Battambang Provincial Administration to strengthen advance readiness and intervene promptly in distributing assistance to families affected by flooding. The food supplies handed over on this occasion were substantial, comprising: 10 tons of rice, 500 cartons of instant noodles, 300 cartons of bottled water, 80 cartons of canned fish, along with daily necessities such as 200 packs of fish sauce and 200 packs of soy sauce. These reserve supplies will serve as a warm backbone of support, easing the immediate hardships faced by local residents currently dealing with flood conditions. This humanitarian gesture reflects the swift intervention preparedness and concrete response of the Ministry of Interior's leadership, working in coordination with local authorities, with the goal of ensuring that no citizen affected by a natural disaster is left without assistance.
