Samdech Thipadei Supports Public Input to Add Khmer Style to "Sopheameakong Palm" Statue
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet on the afternoon of October 14, 2026, expressed support for public feedback on improvements to the "Sopheameakong Palm" statue after the Governor of Kampot province inaugurated it during the Pchum Ben festival, allowing residents and tourists to visit, enjoy, and capture beautiful images in Kampot province. I hope that His Excellency Mao Thonin, Governor of the Kampot Provincial Administration, who initiated and built the "Sopheameakong Palm" statue as a new tourist attraction in Kampot province, will discuss with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts to add Khmer-style elements in line with suggestions from fellow citizens.
