Koh Russey is one of the small islands in Preah Sihanouk province, about 4.5 kilometres from the coast of Sihanoukville. It falls under the administration of Prey Nob district, Preah Sihanouk province.
The island was formerly used as a small Cambodian naval post. With the development of Sihanoukville and rising visitor numbers, it has attracted growing tourism investment and development, alongside its beautiful scenery and white sandy beaches.

Among the island’s development projects, investment company Citystar has introduced a low-density villa community and luxury hotel project following EarthCheck’s environmental sustainability assessment and certification standards. The hotel operations are now open.

Today, the island is known as a destination for visitors who enjoy natural scenery and seaside relaxation. Its development reflects a transition from a former military site to an area with potential for tourism and investment. Koh Russey is part of Cambodia’s natural beauty, combining the tranquillity of an island with opportunities for sustainable tourism development. By: សុភ័ក្រ្ត
