Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen recently sent a letter to King Norodom Sihamoni congratulating the King on the 22nd anniversary of his coronation on October 29 and commending his efforts to safeguard national peace and unity.
In the congratulatory letter, Hun Sen said King Norodom Sihamoni has consistently fulfilled his royal duties and worked to uphold and strengthen Cambodia’s peace, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, while promoting harmonious coexistence among the people and the shared enjoyment of health and prosperity.
Hun Sen also noted that the King actively promotes friendly relations between Cambodia and other countries and presents Cambodia’s national image to the region and the international community. He said the King develops friendships in a gentle, sincere and wise manner, laying a foundation for shared prosperity.
