The Preah Sihanouk provincial administration in Cambodia recently issued an announcement publishing a public hotline to make it easier for residents to raise concerns about public services, community security and online scams.
According to the announcement, residents with questions about government public services, or who encounter problems concerning security and public order, may contact the relevant authorities through the hotline.
The provincial administration specifically reminded residents that anyone with information about illegal activities such as online or telecommunications scams may call 092 557 117 to make a report.
The provincial administration also pledged that all inquiries submitted through the hotline and all information provided would be kept confidential.
Officials said the hotline was established to improve channels for residents to raise concerns, encourage the public to provide information about illegal activities, and jointly safeguard security and public safety in Preah Sihanouk.
