November 2, 2026: Cambodian authorities decided to deport 21 Indonesian nationals, including four women, through Techo International Airport after finding that they had entered the country clandestinely and stayed and worked illegally.

The operation followed the instructions of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sar Sokha and Lieutenant General Sok Veasna, Director General of the General Department of Immigration. The Department of Investigation and Procedure Enforcement worked closely with the Indonesian Embassy in Cambodia to arrange the deportation procedures.

The firm action reflects the implementation of instructions from Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, who has clearly stated that Cambodia will not allow criminals or persons acting illegally to use its territory as a base for fraud or for offences that undermine security.

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Interior, law enforcement authorities are continuing efforts to investigate and combat cybercrime, track down ringleaders and rescue victims of deception so that they can regain their freedom and return safely to their home countries, protecting the nation’s reputation and security.
