(Preah Sihanouk Province): Provincial police confirmed that a South Korean man found dead in a bathroom on October 20, 2025 had died by suicide by hanging at the QueenCo hotel, in Group 24, Village 3, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk Province. The body has been handed to the technical and scientific police department to continue procedures for its return to the family.
The deceased was identified as KIM SANGYONG, a male South Korean tourist holding passport M901C9298, who had been staying at the QueenCo hotel for 11 days.
According to a report, the QueenCo hotel and casino has an Israeli owner. An incident involving four South Koreans had also occurred there on October 17, 2025.
