Cambodia’s Interior Ministry urgently deployed a nationwide crackdown on telecom and online fraud. Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sar Sokha chaired a video conference on the afternoon of January 19, calling for concentrated anti-scam action across the country.
Sar Sokha conveyed firm central-government instructions to the capital, provinces and all levels of government, requiring immediate targeted plans to effectively curb cross-border technology crime and all forms of online scams.
