The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology forecast fog from January 22 to 31, 2026, especially at night and in the early morning, when it could impair travellers’ long-distance visibility, before clearing by 9 a.m.
In a notice dated January 20, based on weather monitoring and analysis, the ministry forecast cooler conditions and fog in the southern central lowlands, upland and mountain areas, and sea and coastal areas.
It warned that fog could impair long-distance visibility and urged the public and local authorities to exercise caution to avoid possible incidents. The ministry said it would continue monitoring and analysis and issue updates if conditions changed.
