Summary

The report described a planned January 24–28 visit by USS Cincinnati with 100 crew and outlined the ship's dimensions, propulsion and weapons capabilities.

USS CINCINNATI (LCS 20) is scheduled to call at Cambodia's Ream Naval Base tomorrow, January 24, 2026, according to Vice Admiral Sam Sokha, deputy commander of the Cambodian Navy. The report describes it as the first US warship call in Cambodia in early 2026. The roughly 3,000-tonne ship will stay for five days, January 24–28, bringing 100 crew under commanding officer Andrew Recame.

USS CINCINNATI is 130 metres long and 31.6 metres wide, with deck space for helicopters to land. Four waterjets provide a speed of about 74 kilometres per hour and good manoeuvrability and stability even in large waves. It can carry a forward-mounted 57 mm Mk 110 gun firing 220 rounds per minute, missiles intercepting hostile missiles or aircraft, and advanced surface-to-surface missiles. The report says it is deployed in the Indo-Pacific for military exercises and freedom-of-navigation patrols.
