The exhibition An Epic of Water and Stone: Ancient Cambodian Civilisation recently opened at the China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea. It is jointly organised by that museum, the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center and the National Museum of Cambodia.
The exhibition presents 122 items or sets, including stone sculptures and pottery from Cambodia's National Museum. The objects trace ancient Cambodian civilisation's development and artistic features, giving the public a close view of Khmer history and culture.
