Cambodian police released interim results for nationwide anti-drug work in January 2026. National Police figures showed 249 drug-crime cases detected and 651 suspects arrested nationwide from January 1 to 24.
Police seized batches of drugs and tools and equipment used for production and processing. The items were transferred to provincial and municipal courts in accordance with the law. All arrested people had also been handed to judicial authorities for subsequent proceedings.
Police said the operations were part of nationwide anti-drug work. They would continue intensifying enforcement alongside prevention and control measures to curb drug crime and further protect social security and public order.
