The Club of Cambodian Journalists (CCJ), in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Cambodia–China Youth Friendship House, will organise a special first-aid course for journalists, especially those reporting in danger zones, to expand their knowledge of giving immediate first aid to injured or ill people before taking them to hospital.
CCJ President Puy Kea stressed the importance of urgent first aid before a patient reaches hospital, for example after an accident or a sudden illness. Traffic accidents in particular can threaten lives, making timely assistance important.
Specialist doctors from the Ministry of Health will provide the training directly and give practical demonstrations on February 5, 2026, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Business Development Centre on OCIC Boulevard in Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh.
Those interested may register by telephone, Telegram or CoolApp on 012 895 853 or 077 480 171.
